Katherine has been a peer mentor with Neurodiverse Self Advocacy (NDSA) for nearly four years offering post-diagnostic support through their Pathway program and support with employment goals through their Tool Up course. She is currently a specialist mentor for university students with Bridge mentoring as well as working part-time as an assistant resources librarian for a local authority.
Katherine has a clinical diagnosis of autism received twenty years after originally going through the diagnostic process in 1998 where she was told that there was no point in giving a diagnosis as there were no adult support services to refer her to.
Self-understanding is a key to well-being. Often, we are left in limbo after a late realisation of autism and I offer a safe and empathic space for people working through what this means for them whether they are self-identified or have been through a formal diagnostic process.
Katherine charges £50 for a one-hour session with the option of a free no-obligation 20-minute initial meeting to ask any questions and see if it is right for you.
